5 Things You can do to boost your creativity during lockdown

Lockdown has made people a couch potato. They have forgotten to do things which they used to do in their leisure time. What if you are sitting at home idle, let's refresh those hobbies which you have thrown behind because of your busy schedule.

•     Painting

This is one of my favorite hobby. Painting a picture gives you peace of mind and improves your level of concentration. You inculcate the habit of sitting quietly for a long period of time. This creative skill needs to be developed by those students or kids who are very naughty, can't sit quietly or are unable to focus as their level of concentration is weak.

Gardening
Who doesn't love luss green grass and greenery all around. It calms us from within and we feel fresh and energetic. This is a type of skill that connects you with nature. Planting trees not only makes your garden green, but also takes you one step forward towards conserving nature.

Reading Books

Now here you pose to me one question, is it really a creative skill? The answer to this is yes it is definitely a creative skill because you acquire knowledge about a variety of things which you would have never known before. You tend to learn new words and in turn it increases your vocabulary. It enhances your speaking skills and presentation of work.

•  Cooking

Now your maid is on leave these days and you are not burdened by your rigorous office schedule, in this time you can boost up your cooking skills. One can try new recipes to tickle the taste buds of your kids. For people who have never entered into the kitchen, would try to help their mom and in a way learn to cook something for their bad days when they need it the most.

Trying Art n Craft

This is definitely a type of work which brightens the eyes of the children as they love to play with scissors and paper. You can learn and develop a lot of origami work ( paper based craft work), making things out of waste products, making of greeting cards for your loved ones and lot more. You can also decorate your home by creating wall hangings etc.

Conclusion
We crave for getting free from all busy schedules. Lockdown has given us an opportunity of getting free. Let's invest our time into these beautiful creative skills which would make you multi talented.
