The Company You Keep Is Now Digital: And It’s Changing Your Mindset

INTRODUCTION
We have often heard one common phrase from our parents , teachers or elders - we are known by the company we keep ,right . Good company carves out the best within us , while bad company affects our habits and also our way of thinking and changes the whole perspective of viewing life. Earlier company was limited to friends , neighbors,  colleagues or classmates. But now a new member is introduced to this company now ,that is our mobile and the algorithm which works behind it . Let's understand what digital companionship actually means .

DIGITAL COMPANIONSHIP
Digital companionship refers to the use of artificial intelligence-driven systems and chatbots designed to simulate human empathy, emotional support, and social interaction. Again , it is purely the AI algorithm that works on the human emotions. See how it is capturing our thoughts in a meticulous manner. Sounds interesting, but is indeed dangerous for the human mind .
We watch one video and other video automatically pops up . We view a post for a few seconds , stay on it and another post of the same sort appears as we scroll upwards . This is how the digital companionship originates .

Is it about our choice or algorithm
We often assume that things / material displayed on social media is the result of the choices that we make and we admire . On social media , it is a paradox that more choices we have , the harder it becomes to decide what to choose and what to ignore . The videos we see , like or put comments upon creates the algorithm and videos played in loop are a result of this algorithm only . Digital media takes hints from our behavior that we showcase there . Afterall it is AI driven , let's not forget that .

How to improve your digital company
As in life , we decide we such friends we keep them and block those people whom we dislike or our thoughts don't match , similarly the content we see develops our mindset in the same way . Let's understand what to do

1) Decide what you want to view
Students generally limit their social media to latest music albums , movies , celebrities, latest movie releases and so on . Expand your area and include positive thoughts, daily news , interactive vocabulary sessions, education related videos which we help you in improving your study pattern. Understand this fact that social media is not solely about entertainment. It can also be used to carve and shape your personality in a diversified manner .
2) Don't give opinion on every post that you view
Let's understand. We interact with a lot of people around us on a day to day basis ,right . We like somebody's way of talking, and we may not . The response we get through them gets stored in our mind and we provide instructions to our mind whether to interact or not with that particular person further . Similarly, wasting energy arguing online rarely changes mindsets.. Kindly stop wasting your energy over there
3) Limit your feed
The social media is so beautifully designed that whatever videos , posts or content we don't want or don't like , we can immediately unfollow , mute or instruct as not interested so that our feeds fills with valuable content only .
4) Don't rely on one source
Since I already told prior , it is AI generated , so don't trust blindly . Do crosscheck from the reliable sources such as government websites to reach to the authenticity of the news whatever you receive. Don't get baffled or inflamed by any news that spread spontaneous negativity or hatred among the folks . BEWARE!!!!

Timely Cleansing of Digital Companionship
As we clean our cupboards,  bookshelves, kitchen cabinets , study tables in order to maintain a healthy, clean  and peaceful environment around us , similarly , it becomes equally important to clean the clutter from social media which no longer serves you in a better way . If you feel that I said something wrong , sit silently and ask yourself a question
Does the feed teach me anything new and informative?
Does it makes your mind peaceful?
Or just out of habit I am getting used to viewing such stuff
These questions look very common for the general mind , but if we see , it puts deep impact in the long run. In this age of AI , people are literally getting addicted to scrolling content without understanding the purpose behind it . It's high time to understand that this habit  is making us couch potato and God has not sent us to become that . Instead learn something creative and innovative to transform your personality.

Conclusion
The Company decides our future and personality. Today , our company is not limited to humans , but expanded to include social media and internet . Let's train our mind for this moonshot task to jargon good skills out of the resources that we are using . Whatever we see , reflects your thinking and behavior towards folks
So make this DIGITAL COMPANIONSHIP YOUR FRIEND, NOT YOUR ENEMY . Choose content wisely,  don't get AI overpowered on your thoughts.

Air Pollution

Air pollution is the contamination of the air we breathe, indoors or outdoors, by any chemical, physical or biological agent that is potentially threatening to human and ecosystem health. The pollutants with the most robust evidence for public health concern include particulate matter (PM), ozone (O₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and sulfur dioxide (SO₂) and carbon monoxide (CO). The health risks associated with PM smaller than or equal to 2.5 microns (µm) in diameter (PM₂.₅) are of particular public health relevance. PM₂.₅ and PM₁₀ are capable of penetrating deep into the lungs and PM₂.₅ can even enter the bloodstream, primarily resulting in cardiovascular and respiratory impacts. In 2013, outdoor air pollution and PM were classified as carcinogenic by WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). Air pollution originates from numerous sources of emission, both natural and anthropogenic (resulting from human activity). The main sources of anthropogenic air pollution can vary ge...
